Description:
The 4 days Fes Marrakech desert tour combines the two imperial cities of Marrakech and Fes with a journey through the magnificent Morocco Sahara desert. Travel from Fes to Marrakech on a four-day excursion through the Moroccan desert, ride camels in Erg Chebbi and spend the night in a Berber Sahara desert camp in Erg Chebbi dunes.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Fes ā Ifrane ā Azrou ā Midelt ā Ziz Valley ā Merzouga:
Following breakfast, we will startĀ 4 days Fes Marrakech desert tourĀ from your hotel and drive you across the Middle Atlas Mountains to Ifrane and Azrou. On the route, we’ll stop in Cedar Forests and Azrou to visit the monkeys, then drive via the Midel Atlas mountain pass to Midelt for lunch, and then to the spectacular Ziz Gorges, sculpted with volcanic rocks. Pause for photographs on the route to Ziz Valley and the desert hotel.
Day 2: Tour around Erg Chebbi Desert ā Camel Ride & Night in Desert:
Breakfast is being served in the hotel. We will start the special day to discover the desert by browsing desert villages and visiting nomadic families to enjoy mint tea with nomads and see how they live, after we break the former coal mine, then we head to the village of black people Khamlia (Original are slaves) who play the authentic spiritual music after we passed through the center of Merzouga, then in the afternoon a camel trek for a night in the camp, dinner and night in the desert camp. (Berber tent).
Day 3: Merzouga ā Rissani Market ā Erfoud ā Todra Gorges ā Dades Gorges:
Breakfast at the camp, followed by a camel trip back to the hotel. After taking a shower, we will begin our second day by driving to Todra Gorges through the palms of Rissani, Morocco’s oldest imperial city that was once famous economically. We will drive directly to Todra Gorges to enjoy this wonderful famous Gorges we have in the south of Morocco, followed by a lunch break before driving to Dades Gorges for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Dades Gorges ā Ouarzazate ā Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah ā High Atlas ā Marrakech:
After breakfast, we will drive toĀ OuarzazateĀ (Africa’s Hollywood), passing through the Valley of Roses and the Skoura palm grove before arriving atĀ Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, where we will visit the Cinema Museum, take a lunch break, and then visit the famous Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO heritage site, before continuing on to Marrakech. our driver will make sure to drop you off at your hotel where the tour ofĀ 4 days Fes Marrakech desert tourĀ end

Going into the Sahara Desert was a truly amazing experience! Riding camels into the desert and seeing the sand dunes is something that I will never forget! When we reached camp, Hassan was there to great us and poured us a cup of tea and brought us some snacks. We had a lot of great conversation with him but were unable to set him up with one of our daughters š The camp was clean with a comfortable bed and a full bathroom!!! Very luxurious!!! The next morning, we had breakfast and then we rode ATVs in the dessert which was an indescribably fun experience. We never had to worry about our luggage, it was waiting for us in our tents when we got to the camp, and it was waiting for us at the van when we rode the ATVs out of the desert. Hassan and his team made this vacation 100% stress free and fun!
The only thing that I wish we would have done differently is I would have spent an extra night or two in the desert instead of just one.

Our time in the Sahara Desert was
the best experience, we will never
forget thanks to Hassan! After our
camel ride to the camp he
personally greeted us with mint
tea and snacks. During our dinner
he sat with us at the table. We
loved that personal touch. He
made us feel at home. We wished
that we had another night at the
camp so that we could have more
intimate experience.
Historically we never go back to
the same place twice, but this is
definitely an experience we would
do again!!!
