Camel riding tours to Erg Chebbi dunes – LUXURY OPTION

The camel trek departs from our accommodation in Merzouga at roughly 5:00 p.m. and includes stops along the dunes for photographs and a nice spot to watch the sunset. Upon arrival at the camp,
you will be given mint tea and cookies, be taken to your beautiful ensuite private tent with private western bathroom and hot shower, have dinner under the stars beside the campfire and spend the night.
Day 1
The following morning, rise early to catch the sunrise over the dunes, return to camp for breakfast, and then take a camel ride back to Merzouga; the excursion concludes around 9:30am.
Day 2

Camel riding tours to Erg Chebbi dunes – VIP OPTION

Depending on your arrival time (we are very flexible), you will have the option of taking a private luxury AC 4x4 to the camp or riding camels. The tour includes stops along the dunes, a nice spot for the sunset, check in to your VIP private most comfortable royal tent with ensuite western bathroom and hot shower, cold water and fruits available in your tent, dinner under the stars beside a campfire.
Day 1
The next day, you'll wake up to climb the dunes, no need to set your alarm clock, catch the sunrise, have breakfast at the camp or back at the hotel, return by camels or 4WD with the option to shower at the end of the tour, end of our services. NIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF ERG CHEBBI'S DUNES
Day 2

Yes, it is achievable; the camp is in the dunes, humble and basic; there is nothing luxurious, no toilet or shower; you will be given a Berber tent with a bed and blankets; there are no other camps or visitors; you will be alone with your guide and camels. Camel riding departs from Merzouga, travels through the Erg Chebbi dunes, to a nice spot to watch the sunset, dinner at the camp, overnight stay in a very peaceful location in the dunes,
early morning wake up to watch the sunrise, Camel riding back to Merzouga, breakfast at our hotel, shower, and the trek concludes. Expect a one-hour camel ride from Merzouga to the camp and another one-hour camel ride back from Erg Chebbi's dunes to Merzouga. The fact that you live the experience in the center of the dunes distinguishes this Camel riding tours to Erg Chebbi dunes.

  • From mid-November to the start of March, the weather is chilly at night and mild during the day (Day26°C/Night0°C).
  • During the summer (from mid-June to mid-September), both the daytime and nighttime temperatures are warm (Day45°C/Night30°C).
  • For the remainder of the year, daytime and nighttime temperatures are nearly identical (between 24 and 30 degrees Celsius).
